Anglican Primate urges Nigerian government and labour to show consideration and reasonableness in setting minimum wage
Most Rev. Henry Ndukuba, the Primate of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, has advised the Federal Government to be considerate while urging labour to be reasonable in determining the minimum wage for workers. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the new minimum wage aligns with inflation rates and the economic reality in the country.
Speaking at the Cathedral Church of Advent Life Camp, Abuja during his episcopal visit to mark the 2024 day of Pentecost, Ndukuba called on both parties to prioritize dialogue to prevent future strikes by workers.
