Value of N3.1bn Goods Seized by Customs: Donkey Bones, Tramadol, and More intercepted

Between April 17 and May 17, 2024, the Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone “B” Command in Kaduna, has intercepted a total of smuggled goods worth over N3.1 billion. The seizure includes 54,000 sachets of tramadol, donkey bones, and other items found at different locations within the zone. The Comptroller of the FOU, Zone ‘B’, Ahmadu Bello-Shuaibu, revealed this information on Tuesday. Four suspects were arrested in relation to the smuggling of donkey bones and meat, he added.
