Otti Extends Condolences to Nigerian Army after Hoodlums Attack Soldiers in Aba
Showing solidarity with the Nigerian Army, Governor Alex Otti of Abia State expressed his condolences following an assault by criminal elements on soldiers at Milverton Avenue, Aba.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Kazie Uko, on Saturday, the governor acknowledged being briefed about the Friday evening incident.
According to the statement, the Senior Special Assistant on Security to the Governor, Mr. Chukwunenye Alajemba, confirmed that one soldier lost his life in the attack, while another soldier, who was injured, is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.
