Minister Mohammed Idris of Information and National Orientation congratulated the recently elected Executive Council of the African Public Relations Association (APRA) at the 35th APRA Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire from May 13- 18, 2024.
An APRA Fellow, Mohammed Idris acknowledged the election's significance for African public relations advancement. He emphasized the pivotal moment for APRA, noting that the newly elected Executive Council's collective expertise and leadership would be crucial in achieving the association's long-term vision.
The new APRA Executive Council includes President Arik Karani from Kenya, Vice President Dr. Michele Mekeme from Cameroon, and Secretary-General Dr. Omoniyi Ibietan from Nigeria.
