The upcoming Network of African Data Protection Authorities conference set to be hosted in Nigeria
Preparations are underway for the 10th edition of the Network of African Data Protection Authorities’ (NADPA-RADPA) Conference and Annual General Meeting, which is scheduled to be held in Nigeria. The Nigerian Government, in collaboration with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, NDPC, will be the hosting entity for this significant event.
In a recent announcement by the NDPC, it was revealed that Nigeria secured the privilege to host the upcoming conference during the 9th NADPA Annual General Meeting convened in Nairobi, Kenya. The Network of African Data Protection Authorities (NADPA-RAPDP) was established in Ouagadougou in September 2016 and currently comprises 23 Data Protection Authorities spanning across the African continent.
