President Tinubu Postpones FEC Meeting to Tuesday
Deliberations on crucial national issues at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, typically headed by President Bola Tinubu, have been adjourned to Tuesday.
The session, commencing at noon on Monday, was rescheduled for Tuesday to allow cabinet members to wrap up discussions on pending memos.
Addressing reporters on the development, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, explained, "There are significant decisions being made; we will resume tomorrow (Tuesday)." He did not provide further elaboration.
Sources within the Presidency disclosed that approximately 40 memos were presented at the Council, but time constraints led to the decision to reconvene the following day to address the remaining items.
