Abia PDP and Concerned Pensioners Clash Over Cleared Arrears
Allegations have surfaced from the Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), claiming that Governor Alex Otti tricked pensioners into forfeiting a significant portion of the backlog owed to retired workers in the state.
Amah Abraham, the Vice Chairman and acting Publicity Secretary of the Abia PDP, stated in a press release that the number of months actually paid by the Governor did not align with the true number of months in pension arrears owed to retirees by the state.
