Six members of Taraba CAN women’s group perish in tragic car crash
On Sunday, the residents of Taraba State were plunged into grief due to a devastating car accident that led to the demise of six members belonging to the Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria in the state, known as WOWICAN.
Reports indicate that the accident occurred while the women were en route from Gembu, the administrative headquarters of Sardauna Local Government Council, to Jalingo, the state's capital.
The victims were traveling in an 18-seat bus following a conference that had concluded in Gembu the previous day.
