Senate leadership schedules Trump’s impeachment trial following Nancy Pelosi’s decision to submit articles of impeachment
Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnel has announced that Tuesday of next week is the start date for Trump's impeachment trial in the Senate. This follows House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's plan to hold a vote on impeachment managers on Wednesday so that the House could send the impeachment articles over to the Senate.
