Nigerian arts and culture DG, Olusegun Runsewe allegedly indicted in ‘multi-million naira scam’
According to a report released by the office of the Auditor-General of the Federation, Olusegun Runsewe, the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture, has been implicated in a multi-million naira scam. Runsewe, who previously made headlines due to his confrontation with cross-dresser Bobrisky earlier this year, has allegedly been involved in various irregularities.
The report highlighted several discrepancies, including the unexplained purchase of a car worth N5.6 million shortly after his assumption of office in 2017, without proper certification from the agency’s transport officer and auditor.
