The head of vigilante in Rumuchiolu, Eneka, in Rivers state, was assaulted by unknown assailants and left severely injured and bleeding.   According to a Facebook user who shared the story, the attack on Mr Thank God, the vigilante head, occurred around 3:30pm.   The perpetrators were allegedly from the ONELGA Security, Peace and Advisory Committee (OSPAC), a local vigilante group formed in 2016 to combat crime and cultism in the area.   Peter Owunnah, who posted the story on Facebook, claimed that the vigilante was viciously attacked without any apparent reason, sustaining a deep cut in the middle of his head along with numerous cuts and bruises all over his body, resulting in blood flowing down his face, chest, arms, and back. Unknown men attacked and left the head of the vigilante in Rumuchiolu, Eneka, Rivers state severely injured and bleeding.   A Facebook user shared that the attack on Mr. Thank God, the vigilante head, occurred around 3:30 pm.   The perpetrators were reportedly affiliated with the ONELGA Security, Peace and Advisory Committee (OSPAC), a local vigilante group established in 2016 to combat crime and cultism in the area.   According to Peter Owunnah, who narrated the incident on Facebook, the vigilante was assaulted without provocation.
