I’ve been framed but I won’t be silenced — Shehu Sani reacts to allegation of extortion

Former Senator Shehu Sani has responded to allegations of extortion, claiming that his arrest is politically motivated and denying the accusations against him. Sani issued a statement after his two houses were searched by EFCC operatives, alleging that the government is attempting to silence him due to his criticism of the Buhari-led administration. He described the allegations as baseless and unfounded, accusing the authorities of fabricating lies to tarnish his reputation. Sani demanded that the EFCC make public all statements and supporting documents related to the case. He asserted that the attempt to frame him will not silence or compromise him.
