An apprehension in Quezon City, Philippines, resulted in the arrest of a Nigerian man and his Malagasy partner found in possession of illicit drugs valued at around 489 million Naira.   Likewise residing at the same location in Cavite, Nigerian Lawrence Ikegwuruka Obinna, 27, and Michaella Agustine, 23, from Madagascar, were apprehended following a three-month surveillance operation.     The arrest was made on February 11, during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City, by the Joint Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police operatives. Two letter bombs exploded at postal offices in the Netherlands. The explosions occurred after suspected letter bombs were delivered. The blasts took place at two separate mail depots, one in Amsterdam city center and the other in the city of Kerkrade, located 120 miles to the south. The first explosion happened around 8am on Wednesday (Feb. 12) in a business park in west Amsterdam. The second explosion in Kerkrade occurred shortly after. The packages were sent from the head offices of a debt collection company called CIB, located in Rotterdam.
