Accusation from Garba Shehu: Opposition Allegedly Paid People to Boo President Buhari in Maiduguri
Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, has accused members of the opposition of orchestrating the group that booed the president during his visit to Borno state on Wednesday, February 13th.
President Buhari's visit to Borno State was a sympathy visit following the terror attack in Auno community on Sunday, February 9th. However, he was met with boos from some residents of the state during his convoy drive.
During an appearance on the Hausa Service of the BBC, Garba Shehu alleged that the boos were instigated by the opposition.
