Pregnant Nigerian Woman Killed, Three Children Injured in Tragic Accident (Warning: Disturbing Images)

A tragic road crash in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State took the life of Ginika Ikegwuonu Okechukwu, a pregnant woman, and her driver. Her three children sustained serious injuries in the accident that occurred on Monday.   The Ondo State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps reported that the accident happened around 7.40am at the Ore tollgate on the Ore-Sagamu Expressway, involving a Lexus SUV with number plate KTU 141 FX and a truck with number plate EPE 72 SB.     Another crash occurred at Kilometre 115 on the Ore-Sagamu Expressway, close to the Ore tollgate around 1 pm, involving a Toyota Sienna space bus. Charges Filed Against Surveyors Council’s President for Abuse of Office

The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) has accused Joseph Olorunjuwon Agbenla, the President of Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SCN), of alleged abuse of office.   A four-count charge has been filed before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) against the former Permanent Secretary / Surveyor-General of Lagos State. It is alleged that he received about N5 million as allowances for conferences he did not attend.   The ICPC has filed the case which has now been assigned to Justice A. O. Obong.

Meshack Keith Bwisa, a 27-year-old man and an employee of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) in Kakamega, was found dead after being missing since December 25.
