Prince William inaugurates a new 500-bed emergency COVID-19 hospital constructed in just 8 days (photos)
The opening of the new hospital, named the Nightingale Hospital, took place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, UK. Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, addressed the staff and builders of the hospital via live video during the launch and urged everyone to continue their efforts until Covid-19 is eradicated from the UK’s health framework.
Speaking from his home in Norfolk, Prince William commended and expressed gratitude to the contributors for their hard work in establishing the hospital. He described the effort as herculean and expressed pride in their achievements. He further thanked them for their significant contributions.
