The Commissioner for Health of Lagos State Reveals That 12 out of 14 COVID-19 Deaths Occurred in Private Hospitals
The Lagos State government has reported that among the 14 COVID-19 fatalities in the state, only two occurred in official state facilities, while the rest transpired in private hospitals or while en route to state facilities.
Professor Akin Abayomi, the Commissioner for Health, disclosed this information on Sunday, April 19, while providing an update on the state government's efforts to control the pandemic.
