A Nigerian man, David Igbu, has allegedly confessed to killing his only daughter, Gloria, so he could meet the marital conditions of his pregnant fiancee, Anita Abu.   According to The Nation, Igbu, a welder and an indigene of Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, got married to his deceased wife, Mary Adi, and both were blessed with a baby girl, Gloria. However, following Gloria's birth in 2013, Mary experienced difficulties in conceiving. In 2017, she finally became pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy in February 2018. Unfortunately, Mary suffered from postpartum hemorrhage and passed away the next morning. Recent outbreak of Coronavirus detected in Oyo State

Confirmation from Governor Seyi Makinde reveals that Oyo State is facing an outbreak of three new cases of Coronavirus.   These new cases contribute to a total of 9 active cases within the state, as stated by Governor Makinde.   He further stated that a total of 610 samples have been gathered so far in Oyo State, with 453 of these collected at the COVID-19 testing center at Adamasingba Stadium. Confirmation has been made that one of the suspects in the murder of Afenifere leader Pa Fasoranti's daughter, Mrs Funke Olakunrin, has tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).
