An expert in Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) allegedly linked to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Eastern Security Network (ESN) was neutralised by Nigerian Army troops in Orsu, Ihitteukwa, Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State. The operation, as reported on the Nigerian Army Headquarters' Facebook page, took place on Thursday. Authorities in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, are in the initial stages of probing the unfortunate demise of a young woman known as Kadoon Luisa Iornumbe in Abuja.

Reports reveal that Luisa’s lifeless body was found by drivers at the Timper Garage bridge within the Mpape region of the nation’s capital.

The tragic event took place on a Thursday morning as she was on her way to work.

Witnesses claim that Luisa, a native of Benue State, may have fallen victim to the notorious one-chance robbers who have been spreading havoc in the city.

Upon reaching out for a statement, FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the awareness of the situation within the Command.

She mentioned that the Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, had given directives for the DC CID to initiate a discreet investigation to uncover the underlying cause of the incident.
