Carlo Ancelotti confirms different goalkeepers will start upcoming matches
The manager of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, has announced that he intends to have two different goalkeepers starting their next games.
In a press conference on Friday, Ancelotti disclosed that Thibaut Courtois will be in goal for this weekend’s LaLiga match against Cadiz.
Courtois has been recovering from ACL and meniscus injuries but is now fully fit and ready for selection.
However, for the Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich next week, Ancelotti will give the starting spot to Andriy Lunin.
“Courtois is set to play tomorrow, Lunin will take the field against Bayern on Wednesday,” Ancelotti mentioned.
When questioned about the potential goalkeeper for a Champions League final, he responded, “I do not have that answer.”
