Reports indicate that Daniel Ojukwu, a journalist with the Foundation for Investigative Journalism, has been taken by the Intelligence Response Team of the Inspector General of Police. Currently, Ojukwu is being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, located in Lagos State. Ojukwu vanished on Wednesday and all attempts to contact him failed as his phones were switched off, leaving his whereabouts unknown to his colleagues, family, and friends. Twenty-four hours later, FIJ reported Ojukwu missing at police stations in the area where he was last known to be.
