Ondo State Deputy Governor confident in Aiyedatiwa’s support

Expressing optimism, Dr Olayide Adelami, the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, believes in the victory of Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the ongoing All Progressives Congress primary election. The election is under the supervision of Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State.

Adelami mentioned that he has observed strong support for Aiyedatiwa from the people of the state.

Speaking to reporters after participating in the voting process at his Igboroko 2 Ward 3 in Owo, the deputy governor, through his spokesperson Paul Akindurohe, stated, “Upon my arrival this morning, I did not witness any significant support for other candidates. This did not surprise me as the people of Owo have long shown dedication to the Aiyedatiwa cause.”

He further emphasized, “The substantial backing Aiyedatiwa is receiving is evident in the large turnout of supporters here. It indicates a unanimous endorsement from the people of Owo, a sentiment echoing throughout the state.”

Adelami extended his appreciation to the members of the All Progressives Congress in Owo for their massive turnout to cast their votes for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa during the primary election held across the state on Saturday.

Furthermore, he lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission officials, security agencies, and party loyalists for ensuring the peaceful conduct of the APC primary election in the visited wards.
