The Osun State House of Assembly has officially approved the Osun State Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities Prohibition Bill, making it a law.
During a plenary session presided over by Speaker Adewale Egbedun on Tuesday, the bill was successfully passed.
This important piece of legislation ensures that individuals with disabilities have equal access to healthcare, education, employment, and other essential social services, promoting inclusivity.
Speaker Egbedun, following the bill’s approval, announced that it will now be forwarded to Governor Ademola Adeleke for his final approval.
