Nottingham Forest Fails in Appeal Against 4-Point Deduction in EPL

According to a report by ESPN, Nottingham Forest’s appeal challenging a four-point deduction has been turned down.

The Premier League team was penalized with a four-point deduction back in March due to a violation of Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Upon receiving the initial decision, the club expressed their disappointment and indicated their intention to contest it.

However, an independent commission has now dismissed their appeal, leaving Forest entangled in a relegation battle.

With 29 points, Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad is currently three points ahead of 18th-placed Luton, with both teams having just two games left to play.
