O’Neil Expresses Desire for Head Coach Role Amid Man Utd Interest

In response to talks about Manchester United’s interest in him, Wolves manager Gary O’Neil has refuted the claims, stating that there is “no truth” to the speculations. Despite this, he acknowledged feeling honored to be associated with the Red Devils.

Rumors had circulated that United was eyeing O’Neil for a coaching position at Old Trafford, but O’Neil made it clear that his ultimate ambition is to be a head coach.

Expressing his sentiments, the 40-year-old remarked, “Liverpool and Manchester United always held a special place while growing up. It’s a privilege to be linked, even if the rumors are unfounded.”

He added, “I have a strong attachment to Wolves. My passion lies in being a head coach, and that’s where I see myself. I am thoroughly enjoying my tenure here at Wolves. The media team informed me about the links only to brace for potential queries.”
