APC Chieftain Emami urges Aiyedatiwa to Engage with Displeased Aspirants in Ondo Governorship Primary

Chief Ayirimi Emami, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress, has called on the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, to prioritize authentic reconciliation with all the disgruntled aspirants who competed against him in the party’s primary.

Aiyedatiwa emerged as the victor in the primary election overseen by a panel led by Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, securing 48,569 votes in the direct primary and surpassing 15 other contenders.

Several aspirants have raised objections against the election’s outcome, alleging that Governor Ododo’s team disregarded party regulations.

Emami hailed Aiyedatiwa’s triumph in the primary as evidence of his impactful leadership during the brief period he has served as Ondo State Governor.

He advised Aiyedatiwa to foster reconciliation with the dissatisfied aspirants and incorporate them into his campaign efforts for the party’s collective benefit and the progress of Ondo State.

Emami emphasized that Governor Aiyedatiwa should adopt an inclusive approach towards the other aspirants regarding the primary’s results, promoting unity within the party.

He highlighted that the cooperation of all aspirants would facilitate a smooth victory for the party and expedite the ongoing development initiatives in the state.

Furthermore, he made an appeal to the other contenders in the APC governorship primary to rally behind Aiyedatiwa’s candidacy.
