Once Again, Dangote Lowers Diesel and Aviation Fuel Prices to N940 and N980

Announcing another significant price drop, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced prices of diesel and aviation fuel to N940 and N980 per litre, respectively.

This adjustment follows the recent price cut to N1,000, which was well-received just a couple of weeks ago.

Customers purchasing five million litres or more will benefit from the new price of N940, while those buying one million litres and above will pay N970.

Commenting on this latest development, Anthony Chiejina, Head of Communication at Dangote Group, emphasized the company’s commitment to alleviating the economic challenges in Nigeria.

“Dangote Petroleum Refinery has formed a strategic alliance with MRS Oil and Gas stations to enable consumers to access affordable fuel prices across all their outlets, whether in Lagos or Maiduguri. Customers can now purchase diesel for as low as N1,050 per litre and aviation fuel at N980 at various major airports served by MRS,” Chiejina explained.

He also mentioned plans to expand this partnership to other prominent oil marketers.

“Our goal is to prevent retail buyers from facing inflated prices. The Dangote Group is dedicated to improving the welfare of Nigerians, and we are pleased to introduce these reduced prices, hoping to ease the economic challenges in the country,” he added.

Just a fortnight ago, Dangote Petroleum Refinery had previously lowered the diesel price from N1200 to N1,000 per litre, marking the third significant reduction in less than three weeks.
