Nuhu Ribadu: Tinubu’s security policies lead to demise of bandit leaders like Dangote, Boderi – NSA

The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has attributed the elimination of bandit leaders such as Dangote, Boderi, Ali Kawaje, and Damina to the security policies implemented by President Bola Tinubu.

Ribadu highlighted a noticeable decline in banditry and terrorist activities since Tinubu assumed leadership in Nigeria.

Addressing a gathering in Sokoto, Ribadu emphasized the relative peace that has prevailed in the Niger Delta region under Tinubu’s administration, contrasting it with previous conditions.

He reiterated the current administration’s unwavering commitment to combatting bandits and addressing security challenges.

Ribadu stated: “As of now, no cases of unresolved student abductions exist anywhere in the country. The likes of bandit leaders such as Ali Kawaje, Boderi, Damina, and Dangote have all been neutralized.”

“Previously, organized terrorism attacks by insurgent groups targeted our trains, military installations, and churches. However, such incidents have been absent since our tenure began.

“Furthermore, peace reigns in the Niger Delta today. Previously, the East experienced targeted killings and closures of over 40 police stations, all of which have now been reinstated. These positive transformations are a result of our diligent efforts.

“Our commitment to progress is unwavering. We are resolute and determined, and by the grace of God, Nigeria will witness remarkable changes.”
