A Nigerian woman is alleged to have left her husband just six days after their wedding and eloped with her boyfriend, creating a situation akin to a Nollywood movie.
According to a Facebook post by Angela Damla, seeking information on the whereabouts of the bride, the couple tied the knot on December 14.
Angela asserted that the bride absconded with her “Sugar Daddy”. However, Shuaibu Inusa, a secondary school classmate of the groom, and a graduate of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, based in Jos, Plateau State, who attended the wedding, dismissed these claims.
Inusa clarified that she left with her other boyfriend, not a sugar daddy. He further revealed that they have known each other for years and said, “Some of her family and friends do call her and she said she won’t come back.”
Inusa also shared additional details and a photo of the groom, stating that the couple had been in a relationship for years before getting married. He added that the lady was with her husband when the other guy called, and she subsequently left with him.
Responding to speculations that the lady may have been under a spell, Inusa disclosed that a similar incident had occurred in the same town six months ago with a different couple.
