Duty for Nigerian officials in CAF Confederation Cup

Mohammed Sanusi, the Secretary-General of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has been appointed as the match commissioner for the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final second-leg match between Dreams FC of Ghana and Egypt’s Zamalek.

Chukwudi Callistus Chukwujekwu, another Nigerian official, will be serving as the referee assessor for the encounter.

This important match will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana, on Sunday.

In the first leg held in Cairo last weekend, Dreams FC, who are competing for the first time in the tournament, managed to secure a 0-0 draw against Zamalek.

Dreams FC has maintained an undefeated record at home in the competition with three wins and a draw.

The team is in need of a win to secure a spot in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup.

A score draw, on the other hand, would see Zamalek advancing based on the away-goal rule.
