The discovery of 100kg of Cannabis Sativa concealed in the ceiling of a school in Nasarawa State has been made by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA. The operation was carried out following a tip-off about illegal drug activities at an undisclosed school in Angwan Woje, Lafia Local Government. The narcotics were found to be concealed within the school premises’ ceiling, with the shocking revelation that the school’s security personnel were involved in facilitating the covert drug transactions. NDLEA’s State Commander, Paul Odaudu, confirmed the operation and stated that one suspect linked to the crime has been arrested.
