Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Ekpo Named Co-Chair of NCDMB by Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for Ekperikpe Ekpo, who serves as the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), to be appointed as the co-chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB.

In a statement released on Thursday by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, the appointment reflects Tinubu’s dedication to creating a more streamlined, focused, and consistent process for approving unique oil and gas projects in the country.

The decision was also made to enhance the oversight of the gas sector of the nation’s assets.

Ajuri emphasized the President’s continued commitment to unleashing Nigeria’s vast gas potential to drive industrial growth, generate employment opportunities, and foster sustainable economic development.
