Michael Owen urges Man Utd to replace Ten Hag as manager

Former Man Utd player, Michael Owen, strongly criticizes manager Erik ten Hag and calls for his immediate dismissal.

Man Utd faced a crushing defeat at Selhurst Park, with Palace’s Michael Olise standing out.

Goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell compounded the woes for Ten Hag’s team.

This defeat has left Man Utd in eighth place, facing their lowest Premier League finish ever.

Owen insists that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS need to bring in a new manager before the next season begins.

He stresses that Ten Hag is not the right fit for the role and emphasizes the necessity for a managerial change.

During a segment on Premier League Production, Owen predicts a bleak future under Ten Hag, foreseeing heavy losses against Man City and Arsenal.

“I have been saying for a long time that Ten Hag is not the man for this job, my opinion hasn’t changed,” Owen remarked.

“He absolutely cannot lead the team next season.

“I have a feeling that they might face tough times, they have a cup final and crucial games that could determine their European football future next season.

“At some point, a decision must be made, they are expected to suffer against Man City [in the FA Cup final], and Arsenal will likely dominate them at Old Trafford.”
