For the WAFU B U-17 Championship, Golden Eaglets’ head coach, Manu Garba, has announced a squad of 19 players.
After a rigorous training period of less than a month in Abuja, Garba finalized the team selection to the required 19 players.
On Saturday, the players and officials will leave Abuja for Accra, Ghana to participate in the tournament.
The Eaglets’ first match in defense of their title will be against Burkina Faso at the University Stadium on Thursday, May 16.
Following that, the Nigerian team will compete against Niger and Togo on Sunday, May 19, and Wednesday, May 22, respectively.
