During a recent reflection on his time as Manchester United manager, Erik Ten Hag highlighted the extensive task of reshaping the team.
Following Manchester United’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup final, Ten Hag pointed out that the club was in disarray when he took over a few years ago.
The Dutch manager expressed contentment with the team’s development so far, while also acknowledging the ongoing work required for further improvement.
“I focus on preparing and evolving my team. It’s a continuous process,” Ten Hag stated during his post-match press conference.
He further commented, “When I first arrived, the situation was chaotic.”
“Today, we have made progress. However, there is still room for growth before we reach our desired level,” he added.
Ten Hag’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain, and it is possible that he might depart following the FA Cup final.
