Man who charged at President Buhari in Kebbi denies attacking him (video)

The man who allegedly charged at President Muhammadu Buhari during the Arugungu festival in Kebbi state has come out to deny the accusations of attacking the president. Mohammed Jamil Bello, a native of Kebbi, expressed his strong admiration for President Buhari’s integrity and claimed that he only intended to greet him and express his support. Bello also refuted reports of being mistreated by the Department of State.

Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, described Jamilu as a fervent supporter of President Buhari who inadvertently breached protocol, leading to a misunderstanding. He went on to mention that they would notify the President and request for an opportunity for Bello to meet him and personally convey his support.

Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, also affirmed Bello’s passionate support for the President. He dismissed the allegations of an attack against President Buhari as false.
