Man Arrested by Police in Delta for Allegedly Killing his “Sugar Mummy”

Allegations surrounding the murder of Gloria Akpaku by a man identified as Akpoveta School have led to his arrest by the police. The motive behind the crime was reportedly the victim’s failure to give him N100,000.

The Delta Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, revealed this information via his official X handle on Tuesday. According to Akpoveta, the deceased had promised to provide him with the money upon her return from the market. However, he resorted to threatening to expose their clandestine relationship to her child.

This action led to Gloria’s decision to renege on her promise to give him the money, further enraging Akpoveta. In response to questioning, Akpoveta confessed to stabbing Gloria thrice in the back, neck, and stomach.

Edafe shared insights on the incident in his X post, stating, “I disseminate such accounts to serve as learning opportunities from the experiences of others. The suspect, Akpoveta School, allegedly murdered his sugar mummy, Glory Akpaku, due to her refusal to return the money she had been helping him save. When asked for a motive, he responded with ‘NA DEVIL WORK’ please watch and share.”
