Juventus Star, Paulo Dybala, Tests Positive for Coronavirus

According to reports, Juventus superstar, Paulo Dybala, has tested positive for coronavirus. Furthermore, the Italian giants have confirmed that 121 individuals associated with the club are now in self-isolation.

Venezuelan publication El Nacional has confirmed that Paulo Dybala recently tested positive for coronavirus and has been placed into quarantine.

It was revealed on Wednesday night that Juventus defender Daniele Rugani became the first confirmed case of coronavirus among players in Serie A. He shared a dressing room with his Juventus teammates as they defeated Inter Milan 2-0 behind closed doors on Sunday.

The club has announced in a statement that 121 people, including players, staff members, managers, escorts, and Juventus employees, are self-isolating at home.

A club statement read: ‘Following yesterday’s news, relating to the positivity to Coronavirus-COVID 19 of the player Daniele Rugani, it is specified that 121 people, including players, staff members, managers, escorts and Juventus employees are observing a period of voluntary home isolation, in compliance with the requirements of the health authorities based on the provisions currently in force.’

Cristiano Ronaldo is also self-isolating at his Madeira home in Portugal. He had flown back to his homeland to visit his mother, who recently suffered a stroke before the news broke. He has also threatened not to return to Italy because of the deadly coronavirus.
