Joint performance by Nigerian celebrities for celebrating Children’s Day

Celebrities from Nigeria came together to mark Children’s Day in a touching video shared by lifestyle influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa.

The video, titled “Offer a prayer for all children worldwide. On behalf of all of us, we wish you a Happy Children’s Day,” showcased a lineup of stars singing the beloved 1985 classic “We Are the World,” originally penned by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.

The rendition was crafted, mixed, and fine-tuned by Ojembe Godwin, with the coordination of the entire process overseen by Afrobeats sensation Waje.

The video that quickly gained traction featured esteemed Nollywood figures such as Kate Henshaw, Shaffy Bello, Shola Shobowale, Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham, and Fathia Balogun.

The performance also included personalities like former Guinness World Record holder for marathon cooking Hilda Baci, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Veekee James, Toke Makinwa, Korede Bello, Chef T, Waje, Praize, and celebrities from Big Brother Naija – Bisola and Alex – among others, as they sang the iconic song for a group of gathered children.

Moreover, a rendition in the Hausa language was delivered by emerging vocalist Ali Jubril Namanjo, a close associate of Enioluwa.
