Jamie Carragher Urges Manchester United to Part Ways with Underperforming Midfielder

In a recent development, former Liverpool stalwart, Jamie Carragher, expressed his belief that Manchester United’s Casemiro is no longer able to keep up with the demands of modern football.

Carragher made these remarks during the Monday Night Football show following United’s disappointing 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace.

Casemiro, who featured as a center-back in the game, was directly responsible for conceding the first and last goals by Palace.

Reflecting on Casemiro’s performance, Carragher commented on Sky Sports, stating, “While I acknowledge his illustrious career achievements such as winning the Champions League and representing Brazil and Real Madrid, I can’t help but think of a poignant saying I heard when I retired: Depart from the game before the game abandons you. Casemiro is no longer at the peak of his abilities in top-flight football. It’s time for him to consider retirement and explore other opportunities.”

“Manchester United should consider reaching a mutual agreement to part ways with him. It’s unfair to subject a player of his caliber to such challenges. He should not have to endure these difficulties, especially against teams like Crystal Palace, with all due respect to them. Players at his level deserve better treatment and respect,” Carragher added.
