Potential Direct Entry (DE) candidates are being strongly advised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, to expedite their registration process.
In a recent announcement on its official social media platform, the board emphasized the urgency for DE candidates to complete their registration as soon as possible.
While the DE registration is currently ongoing, JAMB indicated that the window for registration is expected to close shortly.
According to the post, “Attention 2024 DE Applicants! This is to inform those who are yet to complete their registration that the registration is still ongoing and likely to be closed soon. You are by this notice urged to make hay while the sun shines.”
It is noteworthy that JAMB previously postponed the deadline for DE registration indefinitely, following the initial deadlines of March 28 and April 25.
The board explained that the initial deadline extensions were necessary to accommodate more candidates and address challenges arising from security measures aimed at curbing fraudulent A’level results.
