I’m surprised Naira Marley has not been arrested – Executive Jets CEO, Sam Iwuajoku

The CEO of Executive Jets Services Limited, Sam Iwuajoku, has expressed surprise at the federal government’s failure to arrest controversial singer, Naira Marley and his crew members for violating the interstate travel ban. Iwuajoku admitted to writing an apology letter to the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, which has sparked mixed reactions, out of anger.

In an interview with Premium Times, the airline CEO also condemned the indiscriminate movement of people during the Coronavirus pandemic, particularly calling out unnecessary movement for musical concerts at this time. He questioned why they were not arrested, asserting his belief that such movement is unnecessary during a pandemic.

Despite facing criticism for referring to certain individuals as ‘useless people,’ Iwuajoku stood firm in his position, stating that speaking the truth is important, even if it was said in anger.

He also reiterated his earlier claim that he mistook Naira Marley for the Minister of Works, ‘Babatunde Fashola.’
