Sanusi Lamido Sanusi believes that he would emerge victorious in court if he opts to contest his removal as Emir of Kano by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje. Speaking in a video recorded at Awe in Nasarawa State after a federal high court ruling that set him free from detention on March 11, Sanusi expressed confidence in the fairness of the judicial process. He also criticized the unprofessionalism and poor drafting of his dethronement letter.
Sanusi clarified that while he is confident about winning in court, he has no intention of resuming his former position.
