Hypo teams up with FAAN to donate 100 cartons of products for combating coronavirus

Hypo Hygiene Products Limited based in Lagos has announced its collaboration with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to contribute to the containment of the spread of Coronavirus disease in Nigeria by donating 100 cartons of Hypo bleach. Akinseloyin highlighted that the gesture aligns with the company’s dedication to promoting environmental hygiene to minimize disease outbreaks through its bleach brand. He stressed that ensuring the safety of the general public is a priority for the company, emphasizing the necessity of raising awareness about the importance of good hygiene amidst the ongoing global threat of coronavirus. He stated, “As a responsible company and brand, our current focus is on providing support to ensure public safety through hygiene. Promoting the culture of hygiene among Nigerians will significantly contribute to containing the spread of the coronavirus.”

Akinseloyin also praised the management and officials of FAAN for the proactive measures they have implemented thus far. He emphasized the government’s need for all the support possible to prevent an outbreak in the country. Julian Idiaghe, Head of Corporate Affairs at FAAN, acknowledged the commendable nature of the gesture from Hypo Hygiene Products Limited, stating that the donation would further enhance the promotion of excellent hygiene in their facilities. “The health and safety of passengers are of utmost importance, and by upholding good hygiene, our other preventive measures are fortified. China was the first to report an outbreak of the highly contagious disease now known as Coronavirus (COVID-19), and it has evolved into a global health hazard. The initial case in Nigeria was reported in Lagos on Feb. 27, 2020, involving an Italian traveler from Milan to Lagos. Since then, the Federal Government has been urging Nigerians to adopt preventive measures by prioritizing hygiene to mitigate the spread of the virus,” Idiaghe commented. She noted the establishment of screening procedures and the dissemination of public health announcements emphasizing the importance of embracing good hygiene.
