Meanwhile, Julian Idiaghe, FAAN’s Head of Corporate Affairs, lauded the gesture from Hypo Hygiene Products Limited. “The first case was reported in Lagos, Nigeria on Feb. 27, 2020, involving an Italian traveler from Milan to Lagos. Since then, the Federal Government has been encouraging Nigerians to adopt preventive measures by maintaining excellent hygiene to contain the virus’s spread,” Idiaghe stated. She also highlighted the establishment of screening procedures and the dissemination of public health announcements regarding the importance of practicing good hygiene.
