Hungarian police prohibits the progress of pride in Budapest, scheduled for June 28

The Hungarian Police announced on Tuesday that it has prohibited the organization of the ‘progress of pride’ planned for June 28, referring to the controversial law that allows to veto public acts of the LGTB+ collective under the argument of protecting minors.

The Magiar government, headed by the ultra -nationalist Viktor Orbán, has promoted in March a legal reform that prohibits celebrating demonstrations that represent homosexuality or sexual minorities for considering that It could mean a violation of children’s rightsmeasure that has generated severe criticisms inside and outside the Central European country member of the EU and NATO.
