Heartbreak for Bastian Schweinsteiger as Mourinho’s actions left him devastated

During his time at Old Trafford, Bastian Schweinsteiger revealed that he experienced deep sadness when Jose Mourinho blocked him from entering the Manchester United dressing room.

The legendary German midfielder spent two years at Manchester United under Mourinho’s management.

Despite his illustrious career at Bayern Munich, Schweinsteiger struggled to get sufficient game time during his tenure at Manchester United.

This revelation came to light during an interview with Manchester United legend Gary Neville on Sky Bet’s Stick to Football.

The eight-time Bundesliga champion disclosed that the departing director of football, John Murtough, prevented him from accessing the dressing room on Mourinho’s orders.

“On my return to Carrington, I was informed by John Murtough that I was forbidden from entering the dressing room. When I inquired why, he mentioned that it was at the coach’s behest. There was no prior warning,” Schweinsteiger shared.

Expressing his emotions, Schweinsteiger said, “I was deeply saddened as Manchester United holds a special place in my heart. I dedicated myself wholeheartedly during my time on the field.”
