Governor Sanwo-Olu has announced the discharge of another COVID-19 patient from the Infectious Disease Hospital in Lagos during a press briefing. There have been 25 COVID-19 patients discharged from the hospital in total, with 108 patients currently in the state Isolation center.
The governor also addressed the possible extension of the two-week lockdown exercise which commenced on March 30th, saying it was a federal government directive and that both the state and federal authorities are reviewing the situation. He emphasized that the lockdown was a national decision with national backing, and if there is a need to extend it, a decision would be made collectively.
