President Tinubu has sent a second batch of ministerial nominees to the Nigerian senate for screening. The list was transmitted on Wednesday through Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff, accompanied by Senator Hassan Hadejia, the Deputy Chief of Staff.
In the first batch, the Senate had already screened 25 nominees, with three more to go at the time of this report. Last Thursday, Gbajabiamila had submitted the initial list of 28 nominees to the upper chamber and mentioned that additional names would be forwarded.
The 19 names transmitted on Wednesday are as follows:
