In exciting news, Nigerian artist Fireboy DML, whose real name is Adedamola Adefolahan, has announced his upcoming venture into the world of movies for the year.
Expressing his motivation for this decision, he mentioned that he receives frequent praises for being “very dramatic.”
While Fireboy has previously displayed snippets of his acting abilities in his music videos, he is now gearing up for his first significant acting role in the upcoming months.
During a recent conversation with Billboard News, Fireboy also disclosed his plans for releasing a new album in the same year.
Sharing his enthusiasm with fans, he stated, “I am thrilled to reveal that my album will be hitting the shelves this year. The final touches are being added to the album while I am here in LA. I am residing in a place that exudes joy, serenity, and comfort – a space that reflects the vibe of the album.”
Furthermore, he disclosed, “I am branching out into the movie industry as well. Yes, you heard it right – I will be exploring the art of acting. People around me have always characterized me as a dramatic individual. While I understand that being dramatic does not necessarily mean being a skilled actor, I am confident in my acting abilities. I have already taken part in several music videos. I cannot allow this God-given talent for acting to go to waste.”
